Kandid has unveiled a new project titled Color of Feeling. Originally from Sokoto State, Nigeria, and currently based in Lagos, Kandid, whose real name is Ifeanyi Okoye, showcases a vibrant sound that fuses Afrobeats, R&B, highlife, Afropop, and dancehall. His unique style reflects his versatile approach to crafting music. Influenced by artists like Wizkid, Chronixx, and Damian Marley, Kandid has cultivated a strong discography, known for blending warm, romantic melodies with thoughtful, introspective lyrics. His latest project, Color of Feeling, offers a rich mix of Afrobeat, R&B, highlife, and more, delivering a listening experience that transitions from energetic dance beats to deeply emotional storytelling.
